TITLE: Melting the Silos: The Reality of Cross Media Integration

DESCRIPTION: Five of the media industry’s top players – one from each
sector – offer their insight, and debate the outcome, of how media
will be produced, distributed, and consumed in a cross media
environment. The goal of the panel is to focus on what is working, or
not working, in cross media at present. We will avoid pie-in-the-sky
predictions and questionable business models. The panelists will
offer strategies on how to incorporate cross media into your business
model and give insight into some of the challenges the media industry
faces as the silos melt together.

Demo # 1: David Kruis President and CEO of Metranome will demostrate the first ever animated Dilbert and New Yorker Magazine “Cartoon a Day” integrated calendar applications for BlackBerry phones.

Demo #2: Petri Martikainen CEO of MultiTouch will demonstrate its advanced technology that includes MultiTouch cell and boxes which are used in markets such as retail businesses, advertising, exhibitions, museums and design.

Demo #3: Sam Cox CEO of Milabra will demostrate their pioneering online image analysis, with a proprietary technology developed by leading MIT scientists in the pattern recognition field creating solutions for online advertising transactions.

Demo #4: Michael Scissons CEO of Syncapse will demonstrate SocialTALK an innovative tool which allows companies and brands to more effectively create, publish and measure their social media content strategy.
